The simplicity is intentional.

Find the Code strips away artificial complexity to focus entirely on first-person environmental observation and deduction. There are no quest markers telling you where to stand and no hand-holding explanations. You step into a locked concrete room, read the space around you, and earn your way through the door.

  1. Search the room.

    Step into an enclosed concrete chamber and examine every surface. Spotlighted tables, framed paintings, stacked weathered boxes, and floor pressure plates are part of the architecture.

  2. Understand the clues.

    Spotting a clue is only the start. Read the glowing question beneath each painting, compare botanical growth stages across four canvases, or align your perspective between stacked crates.

  3. Input the code.

    Walk up to the wall-mounted keypad and open the ENTER CODE terminal. Every keypress tests whether your deduction of the room holds true.

  4. Move forward.

    The lock disengages and the passage opens. Step across the threshold into the next level—where the rules change and a new observation begins.

The room is part of the puzzle.

Look beyond the obvious. Every wall question, botanical canvas, stacked box, and pressure plate is placed to be read.

Each level in Find the Code is built around observation, pattern recognition, perspective, physical interaction, and logic. You are never handed the answer—only the room in front of you.

The Four Painting Riddles

Four dark still-life canvases hang under gallery spotlights beside stacked stone blocks. Beneath each frame, a glowing inscription asks a specific question—prompting you to inspect the clock and skull, the sculpted bust, the swan's water reflection, and the moonlit sky without ever giving away the digits.

Botanical Growth Sequence

Four forest plant photographs line the wall, each displaying a plant at a distinct stage of growth with a number in its corner. Reading the frames straight from left to right is a trap—you must compare the condition and height of the plants themselves to work out the true sequence.

Hidden in Plain Sight

Rows of stacked, weathered crates break up your line of sight across a wide concrete room. What looks like random clutter from the entrance resolves into a clear message on the far wall once you move through the room and align your perspective.

Weight, Pressure & Hidden Passages

Not every lock opens with a number alone. In the pillar chamber, you physically pick up a heavy wooden crate, carry it across the concrete floor, and rest it onto the recessed pressure plate to keep the switch depressed and open a concealed doorway in the wall.

Every clue converges at the keypad.

When you have searched the room, compared the paintings, and positioned the crates, you walk up to the locked door and bring up the ENTER CODE terminal.

We will never give away any room's combination here. In the game, every code is earned through your own eyes and logic:

  • The First Room Inspect the spotlighted wooden table and the walls around the locked door before approaching the terminal.
  • The Gallery Read each glowing question beneath the four paintings and look closely at what is drawn inside every frame.
  • The Box Chamber Move around the stacked crates until your line of sight reveals what is written on the concrete wall behind them.
  • Interactive Test Try typing any 4-digit combination on the interactive keypad preview on the right (or on your keyboard) and press ENT to test the lock mechanism.
